** Agrochemicals maker PI Industries' shares PIIL.NS rise as much as 4.6%, their biggest intraday rise in over three months, to 2,428.7 rupees apiece
** Uptick after the company has been granted registration for the insecticide, Pioxaniliprole under India's Insecticides Act
** Pioxaniliprole is the country's first indigenously developed molecule for crop protection, targeting pests
** Insecticide applicable to crops such as rice, chillies, corn, vegetables, fruits    
** Trading volume is 641,677 shares as of 12:31 p.m. IST, more than twice the 30-day average, according to data compiled by LSEG
** PIIL shares down 25.6% in 2026 so far, according to exchange data
