** Shares of Pioneer Lithium Ltd  PLN.AX  rise as much as
14.3% to A$0.360, their highest level since Oct. 16
    ** Exploration co executes option agreement to purchase 100%
interest in Benham project in Canada
    ** Says project is a highly prospective greenfields lithium
exploration property 
    ** Says its immediate focus will be to conduct early
exploration fieldwork activities at the project 
    ** PLN down 12.5% YTD, as of last close
