Brazil court suspends meal voucher changes for Edenred's Ticket, Folha reports

SAO PAULO, Jan 21 (Reuters) - A Brazilian court has granted an injunction to Edenred-owned EDEN.PA Ticket suspending new government rules that were set to change the country's meal voucher system, newspaper Folha de S.Paulo reported late on Tuesday.

The new regulations, unveiled late last year, were part of a broader government effort to tweak the so-called Worker Food Program (PAT).

For now, according to the report, the court decision applies only to Edenred's Ticket, not covering Sodexo operator Pluxee PLX.PA or privately-owned Alelo and VR. The four players control about 85% of the market.

Ticket did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
