Voucher providers Pluxee, Edenred fall on French tax fear

** Shares in French voucher providers Pluxee NV PLX.PA and Edenred EDEN.PA drop on Friday after newspaper Les Echos reported that France could impose a 8% tax on lunch vouchers

** Pluxee drops 6.4%, bringing year-to-date losses to above 20%, while Edenred falls around 9% to its lowest since February 2017

** The sector remains highly exposed to all regulatory risks, says Alpha Value analyst Yi Zhong

** As focus comes on public deficit all around Europe, public subsidies are likely to decrease in France but also in other countries, which would negatively impact voucher providers, Zhong adds
