India's Prakash Pipes falls after Q1 profit drop

** Shares of Prakash Pipes PRAS.NS fall 6.7% to 323.50 rupees

** PVC pipe maker's Q1 net profit drops 59.4% Y/Y to 103.1 mln rupees  ($1.2 mln)

** PVC prices remained subdued, which affected profitability during the quarter, PRAS said

** Q1 revenue down 0.7% Y/Y to 2.03 bln rupees

** Trading vols at 226,886 shares so far, over 4x the 30-day average

** PRAS down ~36% YTD
