Dec 31 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1530 GMT on Wednesday:

** TransDigm TDG.N said it would buy Stellant Systems, a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners, for about $960 million in cash, including tax benefits. nL4N3Y10JA

** European private equity firm IK Partners has acquired a majority stake in Ascora Group through one of its funds as part of a management buyout (MBO) designed to support the succession of the founders of the French insurance broker. nL6N3Y108A

** Australia's Predictive Discovery PDI.AX said shareholders of Canada's Robex Resources RBX.V approved a A$2.17 billion ($1.45 billion) merger, paving the way to create a mid-tier gold producer in West Africa. nL4N3Y105P
