    ** Siemens AG  SIEGn.DE  is in talks about a potential deal
to acquire ALTR, Bloomberg News reports, citing people familiar
with the matter
    ** ALTR is exploring a sale, Reuters said in an exclusive
report on Tuesday, citing three people familiar with the matter
    ** Potential bidders include rival design software makers
such as PTC  PTC.O , Cadence Design Systems  CDNS.O , sources
told Reuters
    ** Up to last close, ALTR stock had risen ~22% YTD
