'PYX CARES' Donates to

The Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation

 

PYX Resources Limited (NSX: PYX | LSE: PYX), a leading international premium
zircon producer, has made a first-in-kind donation to The Borneo Orangutan
Survival Foundation (BOS), a non-profit organisation which works to conserve
orangutans and their habitats in Kalimantan, Indonesia.

 

The donation is part of the 'PYX Cares' programme and will support a total of
30 orangutans being cared for by the Borneo Orangutans Survival Foundation
(BOS).  The foundation regularly cooperates with the Indonesian Government in
the maintenance and preservation of the environment.

 

The funds will translate into buying essentials such as diapers, milk bottles,
blankets, sleeping baskets, and rattan baskets, all of which are important
conservation elements.

 

To date, the BOS Foundation has released 450 orangutans from their
rehabilitation centres to three reintroduction sites in Central and East
Kalimantan. The foundation is currently caring for an excess of 400 orangutans
in two rehabilitation centres.

set out in the United Nations Development Programme. The initiative is the
