General Meeting Requisition Submitted to East Imperial Plc
Taylor Partners Limited ("Taylor Partners"), a major shareholder in East
Imperial Plc (LSE: EISB) ("East Imperial" or the "Company") holding
approximately 21.04 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital, notes the
Company's announcement (the "Requisition Announcement") made earlier today and
confirms that on 15 November 2021 it formally requisitioned East Imperial to
convene a general meeting of its shareholders (the "General Meeting").
The purpose of the General Meeting is to put forth ordinary resolutions to
approve the appointment of Alistair K McGeorge and Colin G Henry to the board
of directors of East Imperial (the "Board") and the removal of current
non-executive directors, Rabindra Lal Soni (Rob Soni) and Dr. Olufunke
Abimbola (Funke Abimbola).
