Australia's Rand Mining falls as JV decides to suspend mining at Raleigh in April

** Shares of gold explorer Rand Mining  RND.AX  fall as much
as 7.2% to A$2.180, their lowest since Dec. 11
    ** Co says the East Kundana JV in Western Australia has
deemed its Raleigh underground deposit as unsafe and would
suspend mining activity in April  urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nNDLCynf5
    ** Northern Star Resources  NST.AX  has a majority stake in
the JV, while Rand and Tribune Resources  TBR.AX  own the rest
    ** TBR falls as much as 17.1% to A$4.810 in its biggest
intraday pct drop since September 2018
    ** Rand stock posts its biggest intraday percentage drop 
since Jan. 9
    ** More than 24,400 shares change hands, compared with the
30-day avg of about 7,400 shares
