Trinity Mirror plc ("the Company") - Appointment of Non-executive director
Trinity Mirror plc announces that Steve Hatch is to join the board as a Non-executive director. He will serve on the Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
Steve is the Regional Director of Facebook UK & Ireland. Prior to joining Facebook in 2014, Steveworked in someof the UK's most creative agencies includingBMP DDB, Y&R and PHD beforeserving as CEO at the WPP media agency MEC from 2012 to 2014.

David Grigson, Chairman said: "I'm delighted to have someone of Steve's calibre join us on the board. Alongside his work at Facebook, his career at some of the biggest media agencies in the UK means he knows the advertising and media industry inside out. This insight and experience is hugely relevant to our business and the ongoing expansion into digital."

Steve will join Trinity Mirror on 1 December 2015.
