Further to the Company's announcement on 9 February 2018 relating to the proposed acquisition by the Company of Northern & Shell's publishing assets (the "Acquisition"), Trinity Mirror announces that it has today posted to shareholders an explanatory circular (the"Circular"), along with an accompanying form of proxy, containing a notice convening the general meeting to be held at 11.30 a.m. on 27 February 2018 at the Wilberforce Room, Museum of London Docklands, No.1 Warehouse, West India Quay, London E14 4AL. 
The Circular will be available to view on the Company's website at www.trinitymirror.com
In accordance with LR 13.2.9, The Circular has been submitted to the National Storage Mechanism and will shortly be available for inspection at:http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/NSMand on the Company's website atwww.trinitymirror.com
