Trinity Mirror plc("the Company") announces that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 10 pence each on the London Stock Exchange from Numis Securities Ltd as part of its buyback programme announced on1 August 2016.

Therefore the total number of voting rights in the Company is 274,950,951 which may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they can determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
