** Shares of Recharge Metals  REC.AX  rise as much as 8.5%
to A$0.077, their biggest intraday pct gain since Feb. 16
    ** Battery mineral focused co says it has entered binding
agreement to acquire Newnham Lake Uranium Project in Canada
    ** Co adds it has received A$1.44m in share placement to
fund the acquisition and accelerate exploration activities the
project
    ** About 206,000 shares change hands, 1.9x the 30-day vol.
    ** Including day's session, stock down ~19%
