** A consortium including Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has reached a definitive agreement to buy a minority stake in Liverpool, the Premier League club's owners Fenway Sports Group said.

** Resolute Mining RSG.AX and Guinea's state-backed Nimba Mining Gold said on Friday they have formed a joint venture to advance gold exploration and development projects in the West African country.

** French dairy giant Lactalis reached an agreement to buy Canadian rival Saputo's SAP.TO unit in Britain in a deal valuing the business at 988 million pounds ($1.34 billion), the companies said. nL8N44B0QI
     
** U.S.-based Diversified Energy DEC.N said on Friday it is in early discussions to acquire privately held Birch Resources, as it looks to further expand into the oil and gas-rich Permian Basin. nL6N44B0GG
