U.S. stock index futures dipped on Monday, as weak forecast from Caterpillar
added to nerves about Chinese economy, while optimism over the end to the
longest U.S. government shutdown in history faded  .N 
    At 8:00 a.m. ET, Dow e-minis  1YMc1  were down 0.68 percent at 24,528. S&P
500 e-minis  ESc1  were down 0.51 percent at 2,650, while Nasdaq 100 e-minis
 NQc1  were down 0.58 percent at 6,751.75.
