Description: An unexpected fall in exports, and a rise in imports, has left
China with a rare trade deficit.
Global exports fell 2.7 percent in March -
economists had expected a 10 percent RISE.
Even so, China's trade surplus with
the United States actually rose by almost 20 percent to 58 billion dollars,
which could exacerbate trade tensions with Washington.
