Posting of Circular and Notice of General Meeting
Rockhopper Exploration plc (AIM: RKH), the oil and gas exploration and production company with interests in the North Falkland Basin and Greater Mediterranean region, announces that the Rockhopper Circular and Notice of Rockhopper General Meeting pursuant to the previously announced Merger with Falkland Oil and Gas Limited ("FOGL") is today being posted to shareholders and will be made available on the Company's website at www.rockhopperexploration.co.uk.
The General Meeting will be held at the offices of Ashurst LLP, Broadwalk House, 5 Appold Street, London EC2A 2HA on 14 December 2015 at 10.30 a.m. The latest time and date for lodging of Forms of Proxy for the General Meeting of the Company is 11 December 2015 at 10.30 a.m.
The Company will announce, via a Regulatory Information Service, an updated timetable of principal events on or around the date upon which the Scheme Document is posted to FOGL Shareholders.
Capitalised terms in this announcement, unless otherwise defined, have the same meaning given to them in the announcement issued by the Company on 24 November 2015. All times referred to in this announcement are London time.
