Australia's Recharge Metals rises on agreement to acquire Canadian lithium project

** Shares of Recharge Metals REC.AX jump as much as 15% to
A$0.23, their highest since Oct. 14, 2022
** Co enters into a binding agreement with Canada-based
mineral explorer Rockland Resources RKL.CD to acquire Wapistan
lithium project in Quebec, Canada for C$500,000 ($375,798.57) in
cash, among other terms
** Stock set to mark best session since May 8, if gains hold
** More than 730,000 shares have changed hands, compared
with the 30-day average of about 630,000 shares
** Stock up ~48.2% so far this year, as of last close
($1 = 1.3305 Canadian dollars)
