India's Rubicon Research rises on quarterly profit, revenue jump

** Shares of India's Rubicon Research RUBI.NS jump 6.38% to 1,733.6 rupees 
** Stock on track to snap three session of losses, if gains hold
** Co's first quarter profit rose about two-fold year-on-year to 847.8 million rupees ($8.87 million)
** Co also posted 51.6% year-on-year rise in June quarter revenue to 5.34 billion rupees
** Trading vols at 1.37 million shares vs 30-day volumes of 247,851 shares
** YTD stock up 152.77%
