DUBLIN, May 18 (Reuters) - Ryanair RYA.I is increasingly confident that its operations will not be hit by a jet-fuel shortage even after the summer as suppliers move to meet increased demand, Chief Financial Officer Neil Sorahan said on Monday.
"You can't rule it out. We don't know how long the Strait (of Hormuz) will remain closed. But I'm getting increasingly more confident that there won't be issues" even beyond the summer, Sorahan said in an interview.
"We're seeing that the refiners, who were typically doing, say, three-to-one on gasoline to jet fuel, are now doing one-to-one," and they are also moving to source more oil from Latin America and Eastern Europe, he said.
