** Shares of S2 Resources  S2R.AX  rise as much as 13.5% to
A$0.21, their highest level since Oct. 31
    ** Stock on track for biggest intraday pct rise since Oct. 5
if gains hold
    ** Mineral explorer says it has reached an agreement with
Oxley Resources to acquire 70% stake in the Warraweena
exploration project at New South Wales
    ** Adds area contains nickel, copper and zinc heavy mineral
concentrate sample according to a government heavy mineral
concentrate survey
    ** About 1.7 mln shares change hands, compared with the
30-day average volume of 475,173 shares
    ** Stock up 25.8% YTD as of last close
