Appointment of non-executive director

 

 

S&U, the specialist motor finance and property bridging lender, is pleased
to announce that, following a wide and rigorous search process conducted using
an external recruitment provider, Jeremy Maxwell was appointed non-executive
director of the Company on 17 January 2022.

 

Anthony Coombs, Chairman of S&U commented: "We are very pleased that
Jeremy has accepted our invitation to join the S&U Board. Jeremy brings
broad expertise in digital innovation, marketing, commercial development and
customer experience from over 25 years in the retail and B2B distribution
industries. S&U plc has always been a technology led company and this
appointment will further support and guide our digital marketing and business
development capabilities."

 

Jeremy will serve on the audit, nomination and remuneration committees.

 

There is no further information requiring disclosure under paragraph 9.6.13 of
the UKLA Listing Rules.

 

Jeremy has held senior customer facing executive positions at Carpetright,
Wolseley UK, Mothercare, Screwfix and B&Q.

 

In 2011, he founded and is currently Managing Director of Mesuremax
Consulting, a consultancy and advisory firm specialising in multichannel,
marketing strategy and customer proposition development.
