Australia's copper-focused Sandfire Resources hits one-month high as prices gain

** Shares of copper miner Sandfire Resources SFR.AX rise as much as 1.9% to A$11.560, their highest level since July 8, set for weekly boost of 2.9%

** Copper prices rose on Friday, supported by a weaker U.S. dollar and expectations of better China demand MET/L

** The broader Aussie mining sub-index .AXMM is up 1.5% meanwhile

** YTD, shares up 24%
