Australia's Sandfire Resources rises on strong Q1 results

** Sandfire Resources SFR.AX rises as much as 3.1% to A$16.08, highest since October 21

** Copper explorer posts quarterly group sales revenue of $328 million vs $282 million in the previous corresponding period

** Reports quarterly underlying EBITDA of $157 million vs $121 million in the corresponding period in FY25

** Achieves copper equivalent production of 35.5kt in Q1, nearly 5% ahead of its plan

** YTD, SFR up 73.2%
