May 30 (Reuters) - Scandinavian airline SAS SAS.ST
posted a bigger pretax loss for its fiscal second quarter
compared to a year earlier and said on Thursday it intended to
complete its financial restructuring during the summer of 2024.
For its fiscal second quarter of February-April, the airline
posted a pretax loss of 3.07 billion Swedish crowns ($287.43
million) compared to a 1.41 billion loss a year earlier, as
operating costs rose more than revenues.
SAS said it was making steady progress in its
restructuring proceedings.
"We look forward to emerging as a competitive and
financially stronger airline with a stable equity structure,"
CEO Anko van der Werff said in a statement.
