June 14 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is
expected to open lower on Wednesday, with futures FFIc1 down
0.15%.
* BP: BP's BP.L Toledo, Ohio, oil refinery experienced
multiple problems and a naphtha spill before a fire that killed
two workers last year, according to a report by the U.S.
Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board.
* Cineworld: Cinema operator Cineworld CINE.L is preparing
to file for administration as a part of a financial
restructuring plan, Sky News reported.
* ARM: SoftBank Group Corp's 9984.T Arm is in talks with
some of its biggest customers and end users about bringing on
one or more anchor investors in the chip designer's IPO, two
sources familiar with the matter said.
* ARRIVA: Britain's Unite union said it was suspending
planned strike action that involves around 1,700 bus drivers
working with transport operator Arriva in North and East London,
after the company put forth an improved pay offer to its
employees.
* ENTAIN: Ladbrokes-owner Entain ENT.L said it will buy
Poland-based sports betting operator STS Holdings STH1.WA for
750 million pounds ($945.90 million).
* Savannah Energy: Cameroon's government has frozen a
purchase agreement between its national oil company and Savannah
Energy PLC SAVES.L , it said.
* OIL: Oil prices inched up in Asian morning trade on
Wednesday as investors awaited the outcome of the U.S. Federal
Reserve's June meeting, key economic data from China and
government data on U.S. crude stockpiles.
* The UK's commodity heavy FTSE 100 rose on Tuesday as
mining and energy stocks advanced, narrowly offsetting declines
in services triggered by a stronger-than-expected British jobs
report.
