DBRS rating agency scheduled review on sovereign debt rating
on Italy.
ISTAT releases September producer prices data (0800 GMT) and
October CPI flash data (0900 GMT).
Italy's new economy minister Giancarlo Giorgetti said on
Thursday that the European Central Bank should take account of a
slowing euro zone economy in its future policy decisions.

Treasury sells 2.25-2.75 billion euros 2.65% BTP bonds due
Dec. 1, 2027; 3.25-3.75 billion euros 4.40% new BTP bonds due

Fondazione CRT has committed 5 million euros ($5 million)
towards a new share sale at Monte dei Paschi di Siena, a CRT
source said, bringing the total pledged this week by Italian
banking foundations to 25 million euros.

The Italian spirits group sees no sign that concerns over
inflation are deterring drinkers who still want to enjoy a night
out as the winter party season looms in Europe and the United
States.

Italy's top mast tower firm on Thursday reported a 12% rise
in nine-month core earnings, matching expectations as revenues
rose helped by the growing number of telecoms antennas on its
infrastructure.
The company has cautious approach on M&A at the moment,
General Manager Diego Galli told analysts in a post-results
call.

Italy's Saipem closed up almost 16% as the energy services
group said it was ahead on the delivery of its business plan
targets after beating analysts' expectations for third-quarter
results and improving its 2022 guidance.
DIASORIN DIAS.MI
Shares in diagnostics group DiaSorin closed down almost 8%
on Thursday, with brokers citing a cut to its underlying revenue
growth outlook.
ITALGAS IG.MI
Italgas expects to finalise the acquisition of 49% of Eda
Thess from Eni "in the coming weeks", CEO Paolo Gallo told
analysts during a post-results conference call.
JUVENTUS JUVE.MI
The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) is asking Turin
prosecutors for access to new documents at the centre of the
investigation they have completed into Serie A soccer club
Juventus, a source with direct knowledge of the matter told
Reuters on Thursday.
MEDIOBANCA MDBI.MI , BANCA GENERALI BGN.MI
Mediobanca would consider buying a big wealth management
asset such as Generali's private bank BGN.MI if it is put up
for sale and brings significant synergies, its chief executive
said on Thursday.

Releases Q3 results (0545 GMT), followed by conference call
(1200 GMT).
The board of the energy group on Thursday approved to pay
shareholders the second of the four tranches, worth 0.22 euros,
of its dividend for the fiscal year 2022.
Eni's board on Thursday approved the possible issue of one
or more retail bonds by the end of 2023 for a value of up to 2
billion euros, it said in a statement.
TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI
The board of the telecoms group is expected on Friday to
back a request of state lender CDP and its partners for more
time to submit an offer for its landline grid, two sources
familiar with the matter said. They added a deadline for a
non-binding offer could be set on Nov. 30 with the aim to reach
a binding agreement in the third quarter. One of the sources
said talks would likely no longer continue on an exclusive
basis.
The European Union (EU) is set to demand asset disposals as
a condition for approving an Italian deal to create a national
telecoms network giant, sources close to the matter said.

The insurer said on Thursday it would redeem early all
outstanding notes due Dec. 2042 for an amount of 467.6 million
euros with the first call date set for Dec. 12.
