Following are news stories, press reports and events to watch 
that may affect Poland's financial markets on Wednesday. ALL

    RATES 
    Poland's central bank will decide on the level of interests 
rates at its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday. Analysts 
expect the bank will hold its benchmark rate at record-low of 
1.5 percent.  ECONPL  
     
    UTILITIES 
    Poland's state-run utilities - PGE  PGE.WA , PGNiG  PGN.WA , 
Enea  ENAE.WA  and Energa  ENGP.WA  - have started talks on 
their potential capital investment in troubled construction firm

    UNICREDIT  CRDI.MI , PEKAO  PEO.WA  
    The potential sale of a stake in Polish unit Pekao by 
UniCredit to Poland's state-run insurer PZU  PZU.WA  and its 
partner PRF could be finally settled this week, Parkiet daily 
said quoting unnamed sources.  
     
    PENSION FUNDS 
    Polish brokers have appealed to the labor ministry not to 
transfer any of the assets of the state-guaranteed pension funds 
to a single investment vehicle, arguing this move could have a 
disastrous impact on Poland's capital market, Parkiet daily 
said.  
     
    DINO 
    The IPO of Poland's retail chain Dino, in which private 
equity fund Enterprise Investors will sell its 49-percent stake 
in the company, could be worth around 1 billion zlotys ($240.33 
million), Parkiet daily said.  
     
    SELENA FM  SELP.WA  
    Polish construction chemicals producer Selena FM has opened 
another factory in Kazakhstan, Rzeczpospolita daily said quoting 
the company's statement. 
     
    CAPACITY MARKET 
    Launching the capacity market, in which electricity 
producers are paid not only for power generation but also for 
reserve power, could bring the industry savings of around 25 
billion zlotys, Puls Biznesu daily said quoting an internal 
energy ministry document.
