Wall Street's main indexes were mixed on Tuesday as the recent tech-fueled rally took a breather, while investors awaited Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell's remarks on the economy amid conflicting signals from policymakers. .N

At 11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.31% at 46,523.11. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.09% at 6,687.97, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.26% at 22,729.11.
