main factors that may affect Swiss stocks on Thursday:

    The company reported a Q2 revenue of USD 8.24 billion
   
    NOVARTIS  NOVN.S  
    The company raised its guidance for its core operating
income, expecting growth of mid- to high teens.
    
    VAT Group  VACN.S  
    The company says its H1 EBITDA is up, at CHF 135 million
    
    ROCHE  ROG.S  
    The company's Vabysmo study met all primary endpoints
    
    SFS Group  SFSN.S  
    The group expects 2024 to bring slight organic growth and
slight improvement in EBIT margin compared to the previous year
    
    COMPANY STATEMENTS
    Sulzer  SUN.S  
    Sulzer says it increases its guidance for order intake and
sales for 2024
    
    GEORG FISCHER  GF.S  
    The company said its H1 sales stand at CHF 2.41 billion, up
22.8% year-on-year
        
    RIETER  RIEN.S  
    Rieter says it achieved H1 sales of CHF 421.0 million, 44%
below its result in H1 2023
    
    MEDMIX  MEDX.S  
    Medmix AG says in H1 it achieved a revenue of CHF 241.2
million, 2.8% lower than the previous year
        
    BOSSARD  BOS.S  
    Bossard says its H1 EBIT came in at CHF 58.1 million
        
    SOFTWAREONE  SWON.S  
    Apax Partners, Bain Capital and CVC  CVC.AS  are exploring
potential bids for SoftwareOne, sources say
