Europe Distillates-Diesel profit margins firm

LONDON, Oct 23 (Reuters) - Diesel refining profit margins rose over 3% on Friday, on escalating tension in the Middle East.
Low-sulphur gasoil futures LGOc1 traded at $76.42 a barrel above Brent crude futures LCOc1 by 1657 GMT, $2.51 higher than the previous close.
Shell sold a ULSD cargo to BP for Thames delivery. 
Germany's national oil stockpiling agency EBV circulated on Friday a tender to sell diesel, heating oil and crude oil volumes from strategic reserves, according to a document seen by Reuters.
Gasoil stocks, independently held in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) refining and storage hub, were little changed at 1.78 million metric tons, data from Dutch consultancy Insights Global showed on Thursday.
Jet fuel stocks, meanwhile, fell 6.6% to 461,000 tons.
EU-27 and UK diesel and gasoil imports are on track to average about 933,000 barrels per day so far in October, Kpler data showed, compared with an average of 773,000 bpd for the whole of September.
