North Sea Crude ‑ WTI edges higher as Brent falls

- Differentials for U.S. WTI Midland crude rose slightly on Tuesday as North Sea Brent fell.

  • WTI Midland: Repsol bought a July 20-24 cargo from Chevron at dated Brent plus $1.10 CIF Rotterdam.

  • WTI Midland: Trafigura bid for a July 5-10 cargo at dated Brent plus $1.60 CIF Rotterdam.

  • WTI Midland: Phillips 66 offered a July 18-22 cargo at dated plus $1.00 CIF Rotterdam.

  • The midpoint of the deal, lower offer and higher bid of dated Brent plus $1.23 CIF Rotterdam equated to dated plus 6 cents FOB, Reuters calculations showed.

  • On Monday Trafigura bought a July 15-19 WTI Midland cargo from Chevron at dated Brent plus $1.10 CIF Rotterdam while Moeve bought a July 18-22 cargo from Vitol at the same level.

  • Brent: BP offered a July 15-17 cargo at dated minus 95 cents.

  • On Monday, BP withdrew an offer for the same dates at dated minus 80 cents.

  • Johan Sverdrup: BP offered a July 17-19 cargo at dated plus $3.05.
