MEXICO CITY, May 20 (Reuters) - Dutch firms Alpine Greens and Van der Hoeven are set to invest $200 million in the northern Mexican state of Nuevo Leon in a greenhouse project to grow lettuce, state Governor Samuel Garcia said on Wednesday.
The companies will invest $70 million in the first phase of the project.
"This investment will be used to build greenhouses in Galeana, where lettuce and other vegetables will be grown and harvested," Garcia said in a post on social media.
