Oct 8 (Reuters) -
* Britain's 150,000 barrel-per-day Buzzard oil field is
still shut
down with no timeline for a restart, a spokesman for operator
CNOOC 0083.HK said on Tuesday.
* The field was shut down on Friday to repair pipework on
the
platform.
* Buzzard plays a role in global oil pricing as it is the
main
contributor to the Forties crude stream, the largest of the five
North Sea oil grades that underpin the Brent crude oil futures
benchmark LCoc1 .
