Australia's Siren Gold jumps on drilling progress for NZ project

** Shares of explorer Siren Gold  SNG.AX  rise as much as
1.6% to A$0.062
    ** Co says it has engaged Alton Drilling as its drilling
contractor at Sams Creek Gold project in New Zealand
    ** Says diamond drilling programme at the Anvil prospect at
Sams Creek is expected to start in the second week of April 2024
    ** Stock down 10.3% this year, as of last close, vs a 2.9%
increase in the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index  .AXJO
