SMA Solar books first data centre order, CEO says Aug 13 (Reuters) - Solar equipment and energy storage supplier SMA Solar S92G.DE received its first order from a data centre, located in the United States, during the third quarter, CEO Jürgen Reinert told Reuters on Thursday.
The German company is seeing "very big demand" from AI data centre projects, Reinert said, adding SMA Solar expected to win further orders in the U.S. and potentially Europe.
