Transactions in own shares
Smith & Nephew plc (the "Company") announces that from 8 May 2026 up to
and including 14 May 2026 it has purchased the following number of its own
ordinary shares of US 20¢ each through Merrill Lynch International, as part
of its USD $250 million share buyback programme announced on 6 May 2026 and in
accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's Annual
General Meeting on 6 May 2026.

The Company intends to hold these shares in Treasury and then either cancel
them or retain them for the purpose of satisfying awards under the Company's
employee share plans.
Since 8 May 2026, the Company has purchased 1,425,801 shares at a cost of
$21,165,361.30.
Following the purchases of these shares, the Company holds 25,110,406 of its
ordinary shares in treasury. The Company's issued share capital, with one
voting right per share consists of 852,623,344 ordinary shares of US20¢ each
(excluding treasury shares). The figure of 852,623,344 should be used by
shareholders as the denominator when determining whether they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under
the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
These purchases were made by Merrill Lynch International on behalf of the
Company.
This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of UKLR 9.6.6R.
