Connect Group PLC, a leading specialist distributor, announces that Chief Financial Officer, David Bauernfeind, has decided to step down from his role and the Board to pursue a new opportunity.
 
The process to identify his replacement will commence immediately and David will remain with the Group for sufficient time in order to ensure an orderly handover with his successor.  The Group will make a further announcement in due course.
 
Mark Cashmore, Chief Executive Officer, commented:
 
'David has played an important role in the execution of our strategy to focus the Group's activities, and in the successful disposals of our former Education & Care and Books divisions. I would like to thank David for his contribution over the last two years and wish him well for the future.'
