Smiths News plc (the "Company") announces that it has been notified of the
following transaction in the Company's ordinary shares of 5p each undertaken
by directors / persons discharging managerial responsibility:

1.         Purchase by Manju Malhotra, a non-executive director, of a
total of 30,006 ordinary shares of 5p each, on 14 November 2025 for an average
market price of 66.30p.
