Romania summons Russian ambassador over sabotage, Black Sea attacks
Romania summons Russian ambassador over sabotage, Black Sea attacks BUCHAREST, Oct 27 (Reuters) - Romania's foreign ministry summoned the Russian ambassador on Tuesday to firmly protest an exposed sabotage network coordinated by Russia that officials believe caused a fire at an industrial site near a state-owned weapons company.
The ministry said in a statement the unacceptable incident was "part of an increasingly wider and complex series of acts ran or backed by Russia against many European states." Moscow has repeatedly denied accusations of sabotage in Europe. The ministry also condemned "Russia's systematic attacks on commercial ships in the Black Sea."
