Brief: Romania's Transgaz posts 9.3 pct rise y/y in H1 net profit

BUCHAREST, Aug 13 (Reuters) - Romanian state-owned gas 
pipeline operator Transgaz  ROTGN.BX   
     
    Says its first net profit rose 9.3 percent on the year in 
the first half to 321.6 million lei ($81.26 million). 
    Says earnings per share stood at 27,31 lei, compared with 25 
lei in the same period of last year. 
    Transgaz results are unaudited.
