Romania's Transgaz says Q1 net profit up 5% y/y

BUCHAREST, May 14 (Reuters) - Romanian state-owned gas
pipeline operator Transgaz ROTGN.BX
* Says its net profit rose by 5% on the year in the first
quarter to 201.87 million lei ($45.16 million).
* Says operating revenue before construction activity,
according to IFRIC12 rose 8% on the year to 512.8 million lei.
* Says earnings per share rose to 17.15 lei per share in the
first quarter from 16.26 lei in the same period of last year.
