Romanian Transgaz posts 14 pct y/y net profit drop in 2018

Feb 15 (Reuters) - Romanian state-owned gas pipeline
operator Transgaz  ROTGN.BX 
    
    * Says its net profit fell 14 percent on the year to 499
million
lei ($118.92 million) in 2018.
    * Says its operating revenue before balancing and
construction
activity fell 6.0 percent on the year to 1.6 billion lei,
influenced by lower capacity booking and commodity component
revenues. 
    * Says financial revenue have a negative influence due to
the
transfer of the provision for the impairment of Transgaz`s share
in the share capital of Nabucco Gas Pipeline International GmbH.
