Socket Mobile: Surges after product gets Google Wallet certification

** Shares of data capture products maker  SCKT.O  jump 34%
to $3.15 in premarket trading 
    ** SocketScan S550, which is Socket Mobile's contactless
reader for virtual cards called mobile passes, clears Google
Wallet certification process 
    ** Co says the S550 reads most near field communication
(NFC) cards and mobile passes which includes membership and
other non-payment cards; NFC tech enables contactless
transactions activities using mobile phones
    ** SCKT, which is a part of Alphabet Inc's Google's
 GOOGL.O  Smart Tap partner program, says S550 works with
Android, iOS and Windows Bluetooth-enabled host devices 
    ** Up to Tuesday's close, stock had risen ~46% YTD
