March 31 (Reuters) - Below are company-related news and
stories from France and Benelux which could have an impact on

FAURECIA EPED.PA
The French car parts maker opened a $147 million plant in
Mexico to make car seats and interiors, the company said on
Thursday, the latest in a string of auto sector investments
driving the country's so-called "nearshoring" boom.
GALAPAGOS GLPG.AS
The biotechnology company announced its R&D activities
conducted in Romainville, France will be transferred to the
French Contract Research Organisation NovAliX.
GAZTRANSPORT ET TECHNIGAZ GTT.PA
The engineering company said it won order from Hyundai Samho
Heavy Industries for three new LNG carriers whose delivery is
scheduled between the fourth quarter of 2026 and the fourth
quarter of 2027.

The construction material company announced it will divest
its glass processing businness in Switzerland with the
transaction expected to close by the end of May 2023.
SANOFI SASY.PA
The French drugmaker has started a process to turn its India
consumer healthcare business into a listed entity via a
demerger, the Economic Times newspaper reported on Friday.
SOFINA SOF.BR
The holding company reported its annual net result turn to
loss of 1.87 billion euros and its net asset value drop to 9.31
billion euros from 11.35 billion euros for the same period a
year earlier.
UMICORE UMI.BR
The global materials technology group announced it will
invest a minority stake in US-based start-up Blue Current with
the aim of strengthening Umicore's solid-state battery
technology.
UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP UMG.AS
Universal Music Group announced it extends Lucian Grainge's
contract as the company's Chairman and CEO until May 2028.
