British IT firm Softcat to buy GDT for $1.05 billion Sept 17 (Reuters) - British IT firm Softcat SCTS.L on Thursday said it had agreed to buy US-based GDT for an enterprise value of $1.05 billion, accelerating its expansion in the US amid rising demand for AI, cybersecurity and hybrid cloud services.
