Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Speedy Hire PLC, the UK's leading provider of tools and equipment hire and
services to the construction, infrastructure and industrial markets, is
pleased to announce the appointment of James Bunn to the Board as Chief
Financial Officer with effect from 14 September 2020.

James has extensive experience in senior finance roles, most recently as Chief
Financial Officer for the UK Digital division of GVC Holdings PLC ("GVC")
based in Gibraltar. He joined Ladbrokes PLC in 2012 as Finance Director for
its UK Digital business and has subsequently held senior finance positions
within Ladbrokes Coral PLC and then, following its acquisition, within GVC.
Prior to this, James was employed by TUI Travel PLC from 2001, including as
Finance Director: Commercial from 2008 to 2012. He has also held finance
positions with Tiny Computers and Hertz Leasing. He is a member of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

No other information is required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph LR
9.6.13 R of the Listing Rules in relation to James Bunn's appointment to the
Board of the Company.
