U.S. stock indexes fell on Tuesday as Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell told
Congress the central bank will likely need to raise interest rates more than
expected in response to recent strong data.  .N 
    
    At 10:36 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.26% at
33,345.4. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.33% at 4,035.04 and the Nasdaq Composite
 .IXIC  was down 0.12% at 11,661.284.
