Australia's St Barbara climbs to 8-month high on gold find in PNG project

** Shares of St Barbara  SBM.AX  rise as much as 15.2% to
A$0.265, their highest level since July 27, 2023    
    ** The gold miner says it received positive assay results
from its drilling of the Sorowar–Pigiput Trend portion at the
Simberi Operations in Papua New Guinea
    ** Co says it identified gold mineralisation on site 
    ** Stock set for best day since April 8, if gains hold
    ** SBM stock up 9.5% YTD, as of last close
